Nijio Free is currently in its test phase<\/strong> and is installed
\ndirectly on your device. Google Play will follow after the test. Open this page on the Android device where you want Nijio Free; you need
\nAndroid 8.0 or newer and an internet connection.<\/p>\n

Download Nijio Free for Android<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

  1. Download the app.<\/strong> Tap the button above. Your browser saves
    \nthe file (nijio.apk<\/code>). If it warns that this kind of file can harm
    \nyour device, tap Download anyway<\/strong> \u2014 it’s the Nijio Free
    \ninstaller. Then wait until the download notification appears.<\/li>\n
  2. Open the file.<\/strong> Tap it in the download notification, or open
    \nFiles \/ Downloads<\/strong> and tap nijio.apk<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Allow this one source (first time only).<\/strong> Android asks
    \nwhether to allow installing apps from here. Tap Settings<\/strong>, turn
    \non Allow from this source<\/strong>, and go back. You’re allowing the app
    \nyou downloaded from \u2014 just once.<\/li>\n
  4. Install.<\/strong> Tap Install<\/strong>. If Play
    \nProtect<\/strong> says the app wasn’t recognized, tap More details \u2192
    \nInstall anyway<\/strong>. Nijio Free isn’t on Google Play yet, so your device
    \ndoesn’t recognize it \u2014 that’s expected while testing.<\/li>\n
  5. Open Nijio Free.<\/strong> Tap Open<\/strong> and follow the
    \nfirst steps in the app.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Some devices (for example Xiaomi) add an extra security scan or ask you
    \nto confirm once more \u2014 allow it to continue. These warnings appear only because
    \nyou’re installing outside Google Play; they don’t mean anything is wrong. Once
    \nNijio Free is on Google Play, installing and updating will be automatic.<\/em><\/p>\n

    A newer test version installs the same way.<\/p>\n
