Nijio is made by SokApps — an independent software studio run by Petar Ristanović in Belgrade, Serbia. We build tools that help families stay connected and keep their stories alive across generations.
Our mission
Genealogy is more than dates and names — it is the memory of where we come from. Our goal is to make recording, exploring and sharing that memory simple, beautiful, and respectful of your privacy.
The app
Nijio is our first product: a family tree app for Android that lets you build your tree, add photos and life events, and keep everything in sync across your devices — online or completely offline.
Privacy first
Your family data belongs to you. We never sell it and never use it for advertising. You can use Nijio anonymously, without an account, and request deletion of your data at any time.
Built for everyone
Nijio speaks your language. It is available in English, German, French, Bosnian and Serbian, and we are steadily adding more — with the goal of supporting every European language.
What\’s next
We are growing Nijio into a community where families can connect their trees, share research, and one day even find trusted local help to track down records far from home. This is only the beginning.
